Per the Department of Health Services, every PCW is required to be trained under the observation of a Registered Nurse in performing each skill that is required with every client whom they work with. The Advantage Home Health Care Personal Care Worker training program provides this mandated training to keep your company in compliance. In this training, our RN will cover bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, oral care, transfers and repositioning, and meal preparation in a simulated laboratory. This course is $150 per caregiver. If agency would like caregiver trained on Delegated Nursing Acts (i.e., skincare, blood pressure monitoring, nebulizer treatments, etc.), there is an additional fee of $100. These training classes are also great for annual training requirements!
